Shopping List Saturday.. A fairytale

Posted on 5:18 PM by fdgdfg
Let me tell you a little story...

Once upon a time...

There lived a little strange little girl who wore a red hood. Her name was Red and she liked going on adventures, tea parties and red shoes. She disliked puddles, cold tea and big bad wolves.

One day Red decided she would go on one of her exciting adventures to help her dear friend Rapunzel who was in a spot of bother. She was some how tangled in her beautiful long hair.

On the way to visit Rapunzel, Red, against her better judgment decided to take a detour through a beautiful, yet very enchanted forest. As she wondered through the forest she saw a beautiful little house which seemed to be very busy with activity.

A tea party! Red couldn't resist, she just had to have a closer look.

After some lovely tea and a very interesting conversation about about a girl called Alice and ravens and writing desks, Red thought she better be on her way. It was getting dark and she had promised Rapunzel she would be there in time for tea.

She continued on her way only to be stopped in her tracks by the bandit Snow White and the Usual Suspects.

Red had been cornered, the little bandits wanted to take her back to their little cottage and keep her forever as their new servant. Just when Red thought all was lost she looked up and noticed a young boy flying above her head.

It was Peter on his way to Neverland. Seeing Red in distress, he grabbed her from the evil clutches of Snow White and the bandits and flew off towards Neverland.

The problem was, Red didn't want to go to Neverland, she wanted to go to Rapunzel's house. On explaining this to Peter he was not particularly understanding and dropped her from the sky back into the forest.

Luckily Red landed right on top of a very friendly bear. As she dusted herself off, Red realised she was well and truly lost. Thankfully the kind bear knew exactly where Rapunzel's house was and offered to take Red there himself.

As they wondered to Rapunzel's, Red told the bear all about her exciting adventures and they made it to Rapunzel's just in time for cakes and tea.

The End.

Take a moment to brew a fresh pot of tea and pop over to the fabulous Fancy Picnic to check out the other amazing Shopping Lists. The perfect way to spend a Saturday morning.

I'm off spend the morning creating many new brooches for my Etsy shop and the afternoon searching for treasures at my favourite antiques shop. Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday.

Much love and fairy tales
